Chow down on some bites while you check out the lights.
Naturally, a huge variety of food will be on offer every evening at The Streets during Vivid Sydney, ranging from quick grab-and-go options; colourful cocktails and curated menus at our restaurants and bars; and Vivid-inspired chocolates, teas and more at our cafes and specialty shops.
During the festival, a selection of eateries in The Canteen will also be open from 5pm-9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, making it the perfect place for to grab a quick bite in between checking out the light installations.

Special Products and Offers
Our neighbourhood chocolate shop will be keeping the whole family happy with their Vivid-inspired chocolates. There's Blue Chocolate Domes filled with coconut, citrus zest and blue curaçao liqueur for the grown ups, and Raspberry Cola or Peanut Butter and Banana chocolate bars for the kids.
You don't have to be a tea lover to fall in love with The Rabbit Hole's unique butterfly pea flower tea, which brews into a vibrant blue colour, and changes to purple with a squeeze of lemon (and the resulting change in pH).
Whether you're dining in or taking away from our Nashville hot chicken specialists, they've got a deal for you:

Our champions of sustainable seafood will have two tasty takeaway options available:

If you're dining in, you can get into the Vivid spirit with one of their festival-inspired cocktails - the colour-changing Ink & Tonic (pictured below), Blackberry Gimlet, or
Viva La Vivid'a.
Channeling a bit of Jimi Hendrix, Devon Cafe presents Purple Haze - a colourful ice cream sundae made using ube (taro) soft serve, leche flan (creme caramel) and taro crisps.
For Vivid, Devon Cafe has also launched their dinner menu, featuring dishes such as Smoked Eel Croquette, Prawn Katsu Sando, DFCT (Devon Fried Chicken Thighs) and Salmon Tartare with Prawn Crackers; as well as some old faves like their Squid Ink Pasta with Blue Swimmer Crab, Steak with Porcini Butter, and the DD Special (fries and soft serve).
Got a hankering for some burgs? Don't miss the Vivid Box with your choice of an UME Burger or cheeseburger with regular or spicy special sauce, regular chips, Japanese pickles and matcha mochi, all for $27.
Get up high to our rooftop venue and try one of their special Belvedere cocktails for Vivid - there's an Espresso Martini with burnt marshmallow, the Basil Dazzle (pineapple and basil), and a Vivid Spritz(with grapefruit and rosemary). Word on The Streets is that they'll feature light-up glassware & swizzel sticks too...
Untied will also be hosting a weekly Vivid party on Thursdays from 4pm-9pm - because what could be better than watching the setting sun with a drink in hand?
For some tasty Japanese flavours, look no further than the team at Zushi. For a quick bite, they'll have a variety of grab and go options available, including maki rolls, bento boxes, miso soup and salads.
If you're keen to dine in and watch the world go by, they're also offering a set course meal for groups of 2 or more ($30pp), which includes the following share plates:

- Chef’s selection of assorted Sashimi
- 2 x Vivid-inspired rainbow signature rolls
- Oven-roasted miso salmon with zucchini flowers
- Steamed Rice
Our botanical bar and bistro has an Early Bird dining special for bookings between 5pm-6:30pm during Vivid.
For $65 per person, you'll be rewarded with a shared menu that includes:
- Bread & cultured butter
- Marinated olives
- Burrata cheese, olive oil, sea salt charcuterie plate
- Rangers Valley minute steak, botanical butter
- Green Herb salad
- Fries with smoked salt
- Pear and rosemary cake with yoghurt sorbet.
In the mood for Indian? Spiced have a couple of dine-in deals available during Vivid:
Deal 1: 2 x curries and rice, plus a glass of wine or beer for $25pp (normally $45)
Deal 2 - "Colours of India": Butter chicken, korma and Saag ghost curries, naan bread, rice, plus glass of wine or beer for $35pp (groups of 4 or more)
Soak up the waterfront atmosphere with Anason's Bosphorus-inspired dishes - they'll have simit (sesame bread rings) and dips for takeaway from the simit cart, a quick dine-in meze menu, and a Vivid-inspired cocktail in a colour-changing glass!
As well as all things whisky (and whiskey), Shirt Bar will have their gin-based Vivid Aviation cocktail available during the festival. Pair it with their special 7-hour Whisky Glazed Beef Slider (available dine in and takeaway, $5) and sweet potato fries with chilli salt ($10), and you might even forget about the lights outside (but don't!).
It's all about the quick and easy grab-and-go options at our local bakery - from pies and sausage rolls, to their famous tarts (lemon, chocolate and creme brulee), a slice of cake, or their house-made cold drinks.
Pull up a bar stool at NOLA's.. well... bar - and grab a Brisket Roll or Pulled Pork Roll or Chicken roll with a glass of house red, white, beer or their Vivid Cocktail for $30.
Takeaway baos (fluffy steamed buns) are the order of the day at Lotus, with three varieties available:
- Crumbed Mushroom bao with sweet miso: $6
- Red-braised pork belly bao with pickled onion and coriander: $7
- Taiwanese chicken milk bun with chilli mayo: $7.50
